About Sauvage Botanica
I’m Jos. A forager, home-chef and self-taught naturalist, living in the quiet hills of the Creuse in France.
My days revolve around the rhythm of the land. I walk, gather, observe and cook. Always vegetarian, mostly seasonal, and often wild. I have a soft spot for herbs, overgrown ruins and old forgotten recipes. Sauvage Botanica is where I collect and share what I learn by living close to nature.
This space is for those who feel drawn to the untamed, the useful and the quietly beautiful.
Here you'll find recipes, foraging notes, handmade things and thoughts from the in-between seasons. Sometimes mystical, often practical, always grounded. I hope it inspires you to slow down, learn a plant’s name and make something with your own hands.
